Rebecca Brocato
Rebecca Brocato was a nonresident senior fellow at the DFRLab and the director of strategy and government affairs at National Security Action. She served as special assistant to President Obama and on the National Security Council staff, where she negotiated legislation on behalf of the White House and was the president’s chief liaison to the House Foreign Affairs, Armed Services, and Intelligence Committees. She worked previously at the State Department as an aide to Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD).
A native of Baltimore MD, Rebecca is a graduate of Harvard and Oxford. She began her career as a researcher in West and Central Africa.
