Nitansha Bansal
Nitansha Bansal is an assistant director with the Cyber Statecraft Initiative, part of the Atlantic Council Tech Programs.
In this role, her research focuses on the proliferation of offensive cyber capabilities, including spyware and its policy implications for human rights and national security, and open source software security. She also supports the capacity building efforts of CSI, and runs the Congressional Cyber and Digital Policy Program.
Prior to joining the Council, Nitansha worked with government and think tanks in India on technology policy. She holds a masters in public administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs where she concentrated on cybersecurity and business risk, social media policy, and data analysis.
